Voice application service platform and mobile innovator focused on voice recognition with the goal for users to "say what you want and get it".
  • Member of Management Excellence Leadership Team
  • Silicon Valley Campus Coordinator for Engineering Excellence
  Development Manager 2008-2009  
  Chosen to manage the front end development team for the company's new platform management portal.
 
  • Evaluated multiple authentication alternatives for the new portal. Key factors were security, flexibility, performance and maintenance.
  • Designed authorization architecture with focus on complex access requirements and multi-project support.
  • Implemented first official Ruby on Rails project at Tellme.
 
  Professional Services Manager 2007-2008  
  Managed a team of integration architects and subject matter experts responsible for all technical needs required for client and partner engagements.
 
  • As a member of the Partner Leadership team, initiated a new process for evaluating partners which focused on a defined set of selection criteria, ratings for key areas of expertise as well as a standard sample project to be used as part of the evaluation process.
  • Worked w/Operations and Legal teams on Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance as well as providing technical support as council assessed areas of possible legal concern and support.
  • Reduced Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) requests by 20% through improved documentation and key application changes.
 
  Development Manager 2006-2007  
  Selected to manage the company's business intelligence team which was responsible for all data related to operation, administration, maintenance, provisioning, analytics and billing.
 
  • Identified key core processes that were out of control and implemented new procedures and communication streams to correct and improve.
  • Implemented internal beta of a data rich system geared toward highlighting where and how team efforts were being spent.
 
  Professional Services Engineering Lead 2006  
  Lead engineer for client facing technical projects and support.
 
  • Architected and implemented Tellme Development Portal which eliminated the need for the majority of partner developers to have VPN access and corporate accounts. System design allowed for additional tools and functionality with improved security.
  • Assumed product support of the company's CTI offering from the platform team.
  • Participated in company's Architecture Working Group to help identify engineering areas which could be improved and new or modified processes which could provide a better long term foundation for existing and new projects
 
  Sr. Software Developer/Integration Architect 2005-2006  
  Responsible for all technical deliverables related to the UPS project and all existing client accounts.
 
  • Assumed responsibility for UPS project while three simultaneous development phases were underway. Also managed to turn around customer relationship which had been severely strained until that point.
  • Replaced the three person support staff and led the outsourcing effort with a development partner. Outsourcing effort was completed in just under four months.
  • Worked with major clients to assist them in clearing technical hurdles and becoming self-sufficient.
 
  Support Engineer (contracted through Ficus Software) 2004-2005  
  Responsible for development and maintenance projects for Tellme's Professional Services group.
 
  • Actively maintained 50-75% of all Tellme hosted voice application code.
  • Created stand-alone application for SBC which took data on individual call legs and merged them into a single record describing every point of a call from the start of the incoming call to every agent (when appropriate), to the call's final disposition (hangup, disconnect, etc.)

Currently provide maintenance support for ordering system.

Modified an existing form system to be more flexible, and to allow users to submit their responses via email if desired.

Created an ordering system which allows users to enroll and pay for courses offered by ECG. This system allows users to order multiple courses for multiple people, enforces prerequisite requirements, provides the ability to package courses for a discounted price, and provides a series of email notifications based on date and enrollee status. This system provides a web-based administration process as well, along with nightly cron jobs for handling repeated tasks.
